Restaurant Manager/Maitre D

An exciting time is upon us as we move forward to open our Restaurant in the evenings offering a casual, fine dining experience from February 2018. 

Therefore, an exciting opportunity has arisen to be an instrumental and passionate part of the new team. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic full time manager whose heart is truly in this sector of work, who has a hands-on approach and see’s hospitality as a lifestyle. We want you to be as excited by this new venture and the prospect of a new ‘destination’ restaurant for East Devon, as we are.

The emphasis is on serving local, fresh and seasonal fine food cooked by our new and superb, classically trained international Head Chef which will be matched with a fantastic wine list. 

The ideal person would have an appreciation of good food and drink and an interest and knowledge of the local area and clientele. 

You should have proven experience in high-end hotels or restaurants, of restaurant service, high standards and the ability to demonstrate such. 

A warm and genuine manner with people is a must. A refined outlook on hospitality and convivial charisma are indispensable. 

You should be organised, calm under pressure, well-presented and a strong motivational leader. 

You will be responsible for a small team, stock management, ordering and be the first point of contact for our customers with the desire to offer an exceptional fine dining experience. 

You should have an excellent command of English, both written and verbal. Own transport preferable.
